Mill Valley
This was a commission for a friends’ home in Marin. Back when we lived in San Francisco, we used to take family vacations with them, going on several really fun surf trips to Mexico and Costa Rica. So I had quite a few images from trips that we had done together. After digging those pictures out of the archives, I asked them for a few more meaningful images to build into the piece, which was a fun way to make it more personal.
Archival pigment prints on rag paper, sewn together with poly thread. Hand sewn to museum board, custom powder coated aluminum frame. Numbered (1/1) and stamped on the front, signed on the back.
This piece consists of 4 panels that are all 32”w x 40”h, making the total dimensions 32”h x 170”w.
