Hey hey, I’m just back from an incredible trip to California. I visited with friends and family, attended a workshop at Esalen, sold a few clocks, bequeathed my trusty Vespa, started a new art project (see below), surfed some south swell, camped a few days with Kinley, marveled at the “superbloom”, and reconnected with my old friend, the Pacific Ocean. Often, the effects of travel aren’t apparent until you’ve been back at home for a while. But one thing I realized while in Golden State is how formative my time there was. It’s where I figured out who I wanted to become. California is a special place, and one to which I’ll always stay connected. Many thanks to everyone that sent recommendations, put me up, shared their lives (and cars!), fed me, and made my visit so great. I appreciate all of you. Jamie
