I’m currently on my way to British Columbia, where a few friends and I will spend a week skiing out of a backcountry hut deep in the Selkirks. This trip is a sort of 50th celebration for yours truly. It’s hard to believe that a decade has passed since the trip I did to the Alps for my 40th. The last decade has been pretty good. I’ve had a few wins, a few losses, made some friends, and in the process of trying to remain a perpetual beginner, learned some new skills. I’m really looking forward to this week of no wifi/phone, skiing some peaks, taking some pictures, reflecting on the last 10 years, and looking forward to the next 10. Thanks for reading, Jamie
