Greetings. So much buzz around NFT’s these days! The current hype looks a lot like late 90’s San Francisco — a time when you could go to a launch party any night of the week to find an open bar and sushi spread. Fun, but too good to be true. But this one feels different. NFT’s and smart contracts give all creatives a new level of control over their work, and subsequently, better chance at living off their work. It’s exciting to think about what this means for the arts going forward, where artists move away from gatekeepers and brokers and toward ownership. I haven’t jumped in yet, as I haven’t found a way that feels right. But I’m a believer, and I plan to support this new movement. Thanks for reading, Jamie
